2. What Data We Collect

We collect and process the following types of personal and business data when you use ClusterLoom:

  • Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
  • WordPress site credentials: Your WordPress site URL, username, and Application Password (used solely to publish content on your behalf).
  • Content data: Article topics, titles, body content, excerpts, images, and cluster configurations that you create within the platform.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and error logs.
  • Payment information: Billing details are handled entirely by Stripe and are not stored on our servers. We receive only a transaction reference and plan status from Stripe.
  • LLM rules and preferences: Custom writing rules and generation preferences you configure in your account.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the ClusterLoom service.
  • To authenticate your account and verify your identity.
  • To generate AI content based on your inputs and publish it to your WordPress sites.
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe.
  • To send transactional communications (e.g. receipts, account notifications).
  • To improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised usage analysis.
  • To respond to support inquiries submitted via our contact form.

We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

ClusterLoom integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its functionality:

  • OpenAI / AI providers: Article content is generated using large language model APIs. Prompts are sent to these services but are not stored by them for training purposes under our enterprise agreements.
  • Unsplash: When using Unsplash as your image source, image search requests are sent to the Unsplash API. All images are used in compliance with the Unsplash License.
  • Stripe: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to payment data. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Resend: Transactional emails (such as contact form acknowledgements) are delivered via Resend.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data communications.
  • Access controls limiting who within our organisation can access your data.
  • WordPress Application Passwords are stored in encrypted form and are never transmitted back to users after initial entry.

While we take reasonable precautions, no system is entirely immune from risk. We encourage you to use strong, unique credentials.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records for tax compliance).

Generated content is retained until you delete it from the platform or close your account.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law including:

  • Access: The right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: The right to request deletion of your personal data.

ClusterLoom uses essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

ClusterLoom is intended for professional use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of ClusterLoom after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
